    Michael Aaen founded the company in Aalborg, Denmark, as a spin-off from Nokia.

  2. 2006

    Wirtek became a public company — the 3rd to be listed on the Nasdaq Copenhagen First North Growth Market. Opened the first development and test centre in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

    Acquired Software Pro A/S, a Danish testing consultancy, strengthening QA expertise.

  4. 2020

    Major rebranding of Wirtek, strengthening the foundation for accelerated growth.

  5. 2021

    Accelerate25 strategy announced. Acquisition of CoreBuild — a major milestone in the Accelerate25 implementation.
